This is a question of which came first, the chicken or the egg? Is the media feeding a frenzy because they caused it or are they just capitalizing upon a fad?”


“Earth day was created to draw attention to the plight of Mother Earth. With each year the garbage pile grows, taxing the ability of the Earth’s bio-systems to process it. It has become apparent that it will take more effort than a tribe of hippies dancing around a May pole can muster to fix our environmental problems. If it becomes a choice of saving our GNP or our biosphere, I fear our planet is doomed. Should our environmental crisis to take a backseat to any of our other problems?”
